The same dye has a different shade depending on the concentration and type of wax.

1. You will need electronic scales to weigh the required amount of dye.
2. The dosage for through-dyeing should be from 0.1% to 0.2%, i.e. 1-2 g of dye per 1 kg of wax, for the dipping technique: 1% (10 g per 1 kg of wax) for double dipping and 1.5% (15 g per 1 kg of wax) for single dipping. The variation in dosage depends on the candle making method, type of wax, fragrances and desired color.
3. After you have weighed the required amount of wax, pour it into the melted wax.
4. The temperature of the wax should be about 75-90° C.
5. Stir the added dye well until it is completely and evenly dissolved in the wax.
6. Check that the color matches the desired shade before starting to pour. Add the dye gradually, testing the current color of the wax (you can drip wax onto a test surface) until you get the desired result.
7. Pour the finished mixture into a candle mold or container.
8. Beeswax requires more dye to cover the yellow color. The proportion depends on the desired shade - 1-5 g per 1 kg of wax. Add a minimum amount of dye at first and gradually check the color that is obtained, as our dyes are highly concentrated.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, avoiding direct sunlight and away from heat sources. Keep dyes tightly closed.
Important! Before starting to make a candle, test the dye specifically on your wax/paraffin to find the ideal dose of dye for you.
You can mix dyes with each other to create a different color or shade.
